Get ready for a haunting good time this Halloween weekend!

Halloween’s coming up this Sunday and things are about to get a little spooky around here! We’re ready for the cooler weather and pumpkin everything! There’s so many great corn mazes, hayrides, pumpkin patches, and more here locally.

Here’s a list of some of the best places to get your Fall on this weekend:

Phillips Farm | 6701 Good Hope Church Road, Cary

Admission includes a hayride, corn maze, cow train, and admission to the Family Fun Park which includes a corn pit, tube swing, tube slide, bouncy castle, climbing web, duck races, human size tic tac toe games, bicycle track, and more.  

Be sure to check out their haunted farm every Friday and Saturday night, from the last weekend of September through the last weekend in October. ($21 per person)

The farm is open September 14th and weekends until November 3rd

Hours:

Fridays from 3 pm to 6:30 pm
Saturdays from 10 am to 6:30 pm
Sundays from 1 pm to 6 pm

Admission:

General Admission (age 3 and over): $12.00 per person
Military/First Responders/Seniors 60+:  $10.00 per qualifying individual

Pick your own Pumpkin from the vine, explore the Corn Maze, take a Hayride, play in the Corn Crib, slide down the Hay Stack Slide, ride the Cow Train, enjoy the Farm Animals, have a Duck Run race, and much more!

Spring Haven Farm | 5306 Homer Ruffin Rd, Chapel Hill

Baby Goat Pumpkin Carving:  | Buy Tickets Here

Spring Haven Farm is open for scheduled visits to carve pumpkins with goats. The farm will be full of goats, pumpkins, Fall fun and spooktacular decorations! Find the perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch and then take it into the goat pasture to carve it with all the cute, friendly goats! All of the tools you need to carve the pumpkin are available at each table and will be sterilized between each use. The goats love to nibble on the insides of the pumpkins after you scoop them out. Plastic bags are available for you to take your pumpkin seeds home too!

There’s nothing like Fall fresh air – especially out at the farm! Come join in the fun and meet all the animals like Peppa Pig, Annie the Donkey and Flynn the Horse. They’ll be eager for attention, snacks, and all the love you’ll want to give them! There will be fall time treats to eat and drink and music to listen to. Kids can take the Tractor Train Express and….. if you dare to enter, The Haunted Forest!

All farm activities including the Tractor Train Rides are included in the ticket price! Tasty snacks, drinks, and animal treats can be bought at the farm stand!

Tickets are only available online. Tickets are $13.50 each and pumpkins to carve with the goats or to take home are $8 – $16 depending on size. Entry for kids 3 and under is free. You have the choice to schedule your arrival time between 10:00am and 6:00pm Tuesday – Sunday. Each hour has a limited number of tickets available. Once on the farm you can stay as long as you like. The farm is open until 8:00pm. The Farm is all set up to allow for social distancing and there are plenty of hand sanitizer stations and hand washing areas.


Ken’s Korny Corn Maze | 3175 Benson Road, Garner

Come get lost in Ken’s six acre corn maze and over two and a half miles of paths! Family fun for all ages! Activities include a children’s maze, rope maze, concessions, picnic area, photo opportunities, hay barn, corn crib, gourd checkers, monster truck and tractor, miniature golf, tether ball, hay rides and pumpkins.

Dates: Open from mid-Sept. to mid-Nov. each year.


Pumpkin Flotilla | 801 High House Road, Cary

Pumpkins will set sail across the Bond Park Lake at twilight October 29th, 2021, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., at Bond Park.

Enjoy a discounted boat ride (available to those who enter a pumpkin or dress in appropriate Halloween costumes) and a snack from our concession stand while you wait to watch your pumpkin float on the lake.

If you can’t attend the main event, come by on Saturday, October 30th, 2021, at 6 p.m. The pumpkins will be left floating on the lake and will be relit then. Viewing will be from the waterfront at Bond Park Boathouse.

Hill Ridge Farms | 703 Tarboro Road, Youngsville

Hill ridge is one of those spots worth the drive because you can spend all day here. There’s so much to do here in addition to picking pumpkins, including a Hayride, Hay Jump, Jumping Pillow, Giant Mountain Slide, Colorful Maze, Jump Pad, Corn House, all play areas in the park.

Their annual Fall Pumpkin Festival returns October 1st-October 31st Receive a FREE PUMPKIN with each admission! Open 9:30am-6:30pm every Wednesday – Sunday.

No Reservations required or advance tickets needed. Includes $15 per person Under age 2 Free.
